I've had the best luck lately just taking off the snap ring and driving the bolt back and forth until my impact wrench can start to move it. Then I use forward and reverse on the impact, all the time spraying any dry areas with pb blaster. If the rings are too corroded to come off, or the little saddles are rusted in to the point you can't remove them, I consider the whole thing junk and don't even mess with them....yes they can get that bad!

When I bought my WD it had a rotted out rim so had to change it. Eccentrics were stuck when I pulled them off and didn't want to spend the money to buy new ones. What I did was put each in a vice and using an acetylene torch to heat them and using gulf wax and penetrating oil along with a 3/4" socket (not the correct size, correct size is 25/32 I believe) and breaker bar was able to get them working very smoothly again. Took about an hour each but worth it.

A 20 ton shop press is easier than a BFH to get the eccentric pins to move in and out. Patience and persistance is the key....and lots of never-seize during re-assembly is helpful later on.

We also has some freed up available, but you should be able to get yours to loosen up. PB blaster is not my favorite. I much prefer sea foam, or deep creep (same company).
Get that snap ring off the back, and soak it from all sides. Then a little "tapping" will cause slight movement and get the oil in even better. Keep working at it. They will loosen. Then as said, polish up and they will be good for another 50 years. JimD
