Sitting here on the couch watching this young gal move on in her life. The whole school used computers to get thru the year. I hope the schools never have to do this again. Big party tomorrow around a private pool.
I haven't been off a high dive since the 1980's. Probably break something. Looking forward to it.

Congratulations to your Granddaughter! I am dismayed that the kids this year did not get to have a big official graduation. That is a big event in their lives and they were cheated out of it.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

I'm kinda philosophical on this. Yes, they got screwed on the formal ceremony but in hindsight they/we will never forget this occasion. It might even be a precedent of things to come.

Tom,
Tell her congratulations from a old man on the orange forum! I give the kids a lot of credit for getting through this with a whole new set of rules in the final months of there senior year!
I remember graduating and the big thing was skipping a couple days. Wonder how that happened from home?:)
Do the high dive but you better nail the entry!:)
Regards,
 Chris

Tom, are you planning on diving or jumping?  Me, I'd just watch, a LOT safer.

Had a grandson graduate this year.  They let ONE student at a time walk into the auditorium and receive their diploma.  Out the back door opened by a teacher so they wouldn't touch anything.  10 minutes between students.  It was a long day for Gramma and I as we sat watching a computer screen.

Yes, they are going to remember this all of their lives and I feel sorry for them.  But I don't remember much of my graduation.  Just going to the bar afterwards.  We had the law as 18 year olds then.

Do something spectacular Tom, give her something to remember!!  Like diving in with a hidden set of trunks and when you hit the water, let them go and then watch the crowd.  That'll be something for her memory book!!
