From what I can see in that picture of the valve it is set up as I was thinking.

As it is set up now you probably can not use the 3pt while the loader valve is usable can you?

I think I can see what looks like an acorn nut to the left of the up/down lever for the loader and if so that is probably the adjusting screw for the relief valve.

Travis,
You are correct.  One of the levers (inside one) next to the seat switches between the 3-point and the remotes.  I can only use one or the other depending on where the lever is positioned.

Yes it does! That picture helps a lot and now I can see that the loader valve does have an adjustable relief valve.

If you remove the hoses coming from the rear remote going to the loader valve and either replace or modify them you can run them straight to the Hyd pump. By doing this you will gain two things...

1. You will free up the rear remote couplers

2. You will gain the ability to use the loader or the 3pt without first having to activate or de-activate a lever to do so

I can't see for sure, but I'm willing to bet that the port where the hose comes into the loader valve on the far left has the word "in" near it. If that is true you can run a hose from that port to the bigger of the two ports, front inside, on the Hyd pump and the outlet side of the loader valve to the steel line that is unhooked from the Hyd pump and goes to the rear and to the tractor valves. Just make sure you can verify the in and out of the loader valve and adjust the relief valve to around 2000 psi or what the service manual calls for.(I don't have a manual handy at he moment)

If I haven't completely lost you yet I have another idea for the plow tail wheel...

Travis,
I think I understand what you're saying.  I don't have the tractor here at the house, so it will most likely be a couple of weeks before I can get to it to verify the ins and outs (this weekend being Easter and all).  If you can verify the pressure for me that would be great, too.  I didn't get a loader manual when I bought the tractor, just the tractor manual.

So why wasn't it run directly off the pump to start with?  Hmm, maybe they figured you, usually, don't use the loader and the 3-point at the same time, anyway.

Thanks for all the time you're spending on this with me.
