I plowed my garden a few weeks ago and everything worked great but yesterday when I started the tractor the loader lift arms went up even with the lever in the down position. Could the traction booster lever have anything to do with it? I noticed that it was in the up position for some reason.

A properly adjusted Traction Booster lever if positioned all the way up as far as it can go, will raise the lift arms all the way to the top. So, the lever should be fully DOWN horizontal.

That’s what I thought.I normally don’t mess with the traction booster lever but I must have inadvertently put the lever up.could this have made a valve stick somewhere?

If you put the TBoost lever UP as far as it will go, the lift arms will raise fully and CANNOT be lowered. So, put the lever horizontal and see if it fixes your problem.

Wait, are you talking about a LOADER or the rear lift arms? Your OP says “loader lift arms”

I experienced this when I was using the loader to push downed trees. A bolt in the TB lingage on the WD fell out raising the loader to it’s max.
