The special Olympics are going on. There are 14 sports with over 2,000 athletes and all they get is a one hour show on one of the ESPN networks? These people deal with things that the regular Olympians probably can't even fathom and all they get is an hour a night?

I agree with Kurt.  It's all about money anymore.  And THAT is the MAJOR reason I WILL NOT watch ANY pro sports anymore.  Besides GREED, what do these PRO athletes offer kids anymore?

One time I heard that the special Olympics is held right after the "regular" ones so it would be easy just to continue the coverage and have several more days...I agree too, it is money and interest or lack thereof.

These kids put a lot more effort into what they are doing and deserve more coverage but as has already been said it is about the money. I didn't watch the olympics but would have taken the time to watch the special olympics had I known when it was on.
