We used to try to separate the two, but have given up as life got in the way!  When the gifts are handed out, there are Christmas and birthday gifts on my lap!  
My daughter found the old AC logo online, traced it, then filled it in and framed it!  It turned out nice!  
I have only known one other that had a Christmas birthday, and she was born the same year as me!
