Hey It's my first post here and i need some help (as usual!!)
My buddy has asked me to come and look at his 653 with an intermittent drive problem.

He said this fall, it started to become lazy and unresponsive until it got warmed up, he chalked it up to a bit of water in the oil or a plugged screen and didn't worry bout it because he didn't need it in the winter.
He said the symptoms have continued into the hot weather and sometimes it will not move at all, only to come back a few days later to have it walk and talk no prob!

So far he has checked the trans fluid level and front canister filter.

From my reading here, I think my next step is to pressure test at the shuttle. Does any one have any tips on this? or other ideas?

I also have a full set of manuals he just dropped off, going to do some reading tonite.

Any help would be greatly be appreciated!
Andy

Also been told old supply lines/suction lines can collapse on the inside causing problems possibly.
