Hey guys, new to the group. I picked up an H3 last weekend and want to go over it soon. I have all the original manuals except the operator's manual with the lube specs. Would anyone be able to tell me what they were for up to my serial # 3897? Engine oil, shuttle, trans and finals? Thanks in advance.

The H3 is based on the D15 tractor, so if you can't find an operator's manual for an H3, one for a D15 should work. I get manuals off e-bay, but not parts! Vendors here are the best sources for parts.

Thanks. I have a manual coming. I just wanted to see if someone could tell me the lube specs so I could get started this weekend. The manual won't be here for few days.

Welcome to the forum, Old Iron. I don't have any documentation to back me on this, but if it were mine, I'd run a straight 30 weight engine oil of a reputable brand. Shuttle would get hydraulic/transmission fluid, and transmission and finals would get 80-90 gear oil. Darrel

Thanks Darrel. I was leaning that direction. Is it safe to assume all the fluids should be non detergent especially the shuttle or does it matter on equipment this age? Thanks again.
