Got a cultivator set a while back that has the 1 inch round shank spring trips and 2 disks.

The springs are in good shape, but not the spring rods which hold them, they are bent. I need a spring compressor that can collapse them to warm up the Spring Rod's nut with the torch and take it off.

If anyone has made their own tools I am looking for suggestions or a tool from a store, since my small city has nothing that will work.

Thanks in advance

Suggest you repost this in the Farm Equipment section as you are needing to repair farm equipment.  Also, participation there is much greater.  Herb(GA)

Try Harbor freight, on line.  You don't have to buy, but you can look at hoe theirs are made.  Search spring compressor or mcpherson strut compressor.
