Anyone here familiar with the Allis Chalmers model FPB20-24 forklift? I just picked one up on EPay. The seller is pretty vague on info about the lift - other than it starts and works. Claims the brakes worked at one point, but no longer do. He knows it is rated at 1 ton lift capacity, is a 4 cylinder gas engine (doesn't know if it is a Buda or Waukesha), manual trans (shuttle shift), max mast height is 7'.
If anyone knows any info on the specs for this forklift (engine type etc., or where I can obtain an operators manual. I would appreciate it! I haven't picked the lift up yet, as the seller is downstate from me. From the pics of the forklift, it appears to be from the 1950's. |
