In the other posts there is discussion of when AC switched from the 175 Buda diesel to the ?Perkins? I think engine. Was this in fact a Perkins engine and what else if anything used the 200 engine and can these engines be sourced?

Dave, the HD4 used a 200 CI engine. I think some combines , lift trucks used them too. HTH Tracy Martin

A-C switched from the 175 to the 2200 (200 cu.in non turbo) in the 615 industrial tractor which was basicly a D-15II. That the only tractor where there was a switch. The 2200 became the 433 T engine with a turbo in the 6000 tractors, Gleaner F's, 715C TLB, and some forklifts.

I`ve not owned any of those machines Calvin, But Norm Swinford says in his book that when the I 60 with 175 diesel was discontinued, the I 600 which replaced it, had the 2200 engine and 615s changed at 5001. I took an intrest because I would like to some day own both an HD4 and a D15. Mac

I'm travelling and don't have Norm's book to refer to. I am familar with these tractors.
The I-60 and I-600 are the same tractor with the differances being in the backhoe attachment. The 615 gas is also the same tractor but again the backhoe changed.
The I-60 and I-600 both had the 175 diesel the same as the D-15 diesel. The 615 got the 2200 (200 in.) diesel.

So the 200 is not a Prekins engine, it's the 433 engine without a turbo.

The 200 is 2/3 of a 301.
