I'm loosing fluid from my torque converter into my transmission. i know it's probably a bad seal, but wanted to know if anyone knew of anything else that may be causing it before i went into massive undertaking of tearing it apart to just fix a seal. any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I had the same problem, and had to pull apart tranny and torque housing. the seal was bad as well as the rings and clutch hub grooved. big job ! randal
