Several years ago for my 90 I had some bars made: Steel was cut and formed at work, and I then sent them out to a place we use at work for rubber lagging that cast 90-durometer urethane directly onto them to mimic the original rubber/steel bars. The price wasn't actually that bad, but I'm not really sure why I bothered with the urethane. I'm not doing any fancy/sensitive seed crops. For any of the cereal grains I'm doing, I could have just used plain steel bars (thicker than the original) and they would have worked just as good.
Any decent fab shop with a plasma table and brake press should be able to make the bars. And if you want to go whole-hog and do the urethane, there are lots of places that can do it. The place we use is 'Prothane' in Toronto, but any other urethane casting shop could do the same. Edited by DanielW - 18 hours 30 minutes ago at 1:22pm |
