Hey I'm new here and looking for some help. A 62 d17 gas was given to me that has sat for about 10 years, this thing is sweet! I was operating the rear lift and the stock hydraulic lines busted due to rust so ive ordered new steel lines so I can flare and replace them. Does anyone know what angle that inverted flare is and if I can use a standard flaring tool? Also can I cap the lines off in the meantime or will that cook the pump? First tractor so all this is new to me

Leave both hydraulic levers down (horizontal) and keep the dipstick underneath the fuel tank on right side full and you'll do no harm.
