I belive it a 1947 Allis Chalmers W Speed Patrol? How rare are theses? Was it a factory option to have the hdrylic lift? any information on it would be great

I have one, the hydraulics were never offered from the factory, they are OK for plowing snow on frozen ground at moderate speed, my moldboard has been cut to about nine feet and it's all you want if the snow is much over six inches deep, not really heavy enough to keep it from sliding you sideways with the blade angled enough to roll the snow. They aren't really worth much, not many around, but they don't seem to be in demand by collectors and while they do a fine job of grading driveways and such, there really isn't much use for them.

The amount would vary due to where you live but I would agree they don't seem to go for much different money than just a tractor.
No 3 pt and no pto limits what you use it for

If your road is flat and level for snow it would work good, I have half mile of rolling driveway and my grader dont work good on snow but it works great on the gravel to make it smooth. With snow I grade too much gravel off the road because it dont float.
