hi everyone im new here just picked up a h3 crawler that needs a fuel tank i was told h3 was based off d14 and d15 tractor i was curious if anyone could confirm if a tank off a d14 or 15 would fit my h3 thanks, eric

The D15 tank would be the right fit. A D14 tank may work but is narrower than the D15 tank and would not match up the the hood panels.

A dozer tank has a tube at the bottom sucking from the center of the tank to the sediment bowel in the corner. Yes a D15 tank will fit and work, but you might run out of fuel on a steep hill side. We have a H3 and I can see the tube in the bottom of Our tank. Andy

Andy[/QUOTE Had that problem on an older JI Case dozer using a farm tractor tank. I silver soldered the tube into the center of the replacement tank and it discharged to a remote mounted sediment bowl and filter. Not original but worked well.
