With our 2Hot2Farm class, we are moving to allow extended tube front ends, to align our rules with the neighboring club's rules so we can pull in each other's events. I have a rear end assy I'd like to put a tube front end and cage on. I'll needle the diff as well. Anyone on here running a 210/220 with a tube front end?I've looked on ACE's and Haslag's websites. Both look like good setups. I have Haslag's hitch. Who do you recomend, and who o stay away from? lol! I'd like to buy one and put on here, not take the whole rear end down to them. Thanks for any input! I know, I should just buy Randy's 220!

Just like I hate to see aluminum rear wheels on an antique tractor, why oh why would tube frames be needed in your class ?? What is the weight ??

I agree Dr, I like our "stock farm tractor appearance". The weight is currently 11000, and we're thinking about lightening it up, but it may stay there. I feel it would help my tractor balance better, with a longer wheelbase and further placed weights. My main reason for it is I can start from a bare rear end I have bought, and build from there basically a whole new tractor. I'd still have all the stock components for the current 210 to basically go back to stock. We don't require cages yet, but we are approaching 25mph speeds, so it will become required at some point. Half our tractors do have cages. With my pressed wheels and completely stock front end components my 210 is about 10,220 with no weights. It has 12 65# on the back now.

We have aluminum frame rails built to factory specs. They are not done yet. A steel box inside the frame rails and homemade front end similar to a 7000/6080 striped down makes 8500 with roll bar. I could make a second set of frame rails if interested? Like I said they are factory but longer for front to be moved and weight

I'll keep that in mind Brett. I'm liking the idea of an ACE (style) chassis that basically is tie bars, front framework and axle, ski bars, and weight brackets all in one big chunk. I've come to the realization that our class has turned into full blown pulling tractors now.

No idea there, there's a bunch on bookfase though. As much as I don't care it, it is easy to load and share vids.
