I think only 1960 models had the silver grill with black border and bars.

Black bar grill D14,D17 tractors had silver screen, black borders and bars. 1959-1960.They had orange centers, silver wheels. PO#1 in 1957-1960. Switch over to PO#2 late 1960.

57-58 Everything orange except the wheel rims and muffler. Wheel rims silver front and back.

That's a pretty sharp 57-58 model D-17 for sure. Correct paint color, paint scheme AND DECALS !!!

The air cleaner above the hood is silver. The front wheels are silver on the rim part and orange on the center. The rest is orange. My D14 is the same way. These are my tractors that have never been repainted.

Black bar grille was only on 1959 and 1960 models.  Prior to that, the grilles were persian orange 1 along with the rest of the tractor.  Check your serial number to find out the year yours was built.
