How to get Cast centers off axles on a D19?

Hi guys,
 
I have the non spin out rims on this tractor.  I'm trying to get the cast centers and then the hub off so that I can replace some leaking seals on the axle bearing/axle housing.
 
How do you get these off?  I have removed the bolts between the cast center and the hub and it seems you use jacking bolts to pop these off of each other.  Did that...nothing moved!
 
What ideas have you guys seen work?

Terry, Since I did not know any other way to convey a past listing to you, check out the subject I just brought back from the end of April.  It's how I got my D 19 wheels loose.  Its the subject of loosening the D 19 wheels the new way that is a subject or two below this one or at least somewhere on this page for the moment.  Den

Someone here used a jack hammer on a skid steer right on the cast center near the hub. Don't remember who but he said it worked great. I just turn each bolt until you think they will strip and then go around and just keep tweeking each a very very little. Too much on any one bolt and you will bend the bolt. You have to have the right bolts too. I have used heat before when I had already bent up bolts once and that worked with cruddy bolts but I would try a jackhammer before I did that again.

YOu need to use the 3 special bolts to  pop them apart. Works good. I have the 3 bolts for sale. 785-33-2392

 I would be careful using the jackhammer method, I would think it would be awful hard on the inner axle bearing or worse break the rear end casting out were the inner cup sets.

Jack it up so the tires off the ground -Tighten your jacking bolts up - tight- then hit the end of the axle with a big sledge ; should pop loose , JD even reccomds this method

Ya but that's about 3/4 of the procedures in a standard JD service manual!  :-D  I wouldn't even use my good sledge. :P

What is special about these jacking bolts?  I used 3/4" bolts and then stuck a plate between the hub and the cast center.  Then, I tightend the bolts.   Nothing moved!  Do the jacking bolts do something special?  I am wondering if I am ever going to get these off.

I have done that with the plates too ; when I bent + stripped  all my jacking bolts !!!! It works ;

You pretty much have to have the jacking bolts to get those centers off the hubs....I tried and was defeated badly when I did mine, until I got a set of jacking bolts and used a big sledge hammer to loosen them.

Hi Doug,
 
Jacking bolts along with some squirrel juice.  Matt gave me some good advice to slower tighten each bolt 1/8 of turn and it starting moving immediately.
