Ok, FIRST day I SEE the sun in a week so I go startup the Gleaner to have coffee in the cab..engage the 'drive' lever that makes the head go round and round and round and oops...belt broke ! This is the one on the left side that makes the 'paddlewheel' spin.
Sorry, I know ,not the right names ,but it's all new to me.
 
Could some please measure their belt or find a part number please. It looks like a 5L belt,goes around two idler pulleys.Both were 'frozen',guess that's why the 60 year old belt broke.
 
Another job on the ever growing list.....WHEN will it stop raining??? Getting cloudy as I type.yeesh

Looks like the old AC part # for your belt is 1125977 this is out of my old parts book,
I looked on the new P.O.S. web site has removed the A Gleaner completely.

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Well I just found the old A Gleaner combine book on ACGO's web site, the new # is
71125977.
