Got my little Kerosene B with the Monroe seat home last week. Just getting around to posting the pics. She's stuck, but not sure how bad yet. I'll keep everyone posted. I'm pretty happy with her. Never had a WF tractor before. Gonna take up a little more space than the Cs do. Hope to get the other one next weekend.

If it's a kero motor, it might not be as stuck as you think...

That's what i'm hoping Dave. I have a little inspection camera that should go right in through a spark plug hole. I'm going to see if there's a lot of crud in there. If not, i'm gonna pour the Acetone/ATF to her and see if she'll come free. If so, then i'll be buying some gaskets, pistons, and rings. Probably some new rod/crank bearings too.

Are the monroe seats rare. I bought one for 20 dollars and have only seen a few of them.

I'm not thinking they are really rare, but a lot of Bs/Cs came with the bench seat, which was the only factory setup to my knowledge. Monroe-matic seat was an aftermarket option, and required some different bracketry than stock. Some people have put on seats with farm-fixed brackets, but this one seems to be all OEM for whoever made it. I'm not sure that it's a Monroe seat, I just call it that kinda like some people call a refrigerator a Frigidair.

Like the seat, looks like some the farmall seats I have seen, the bench seat is too hard one my back. Your not the only one that needs to work on a B. Let us know how you make out.
