Been messing around all morning and hydralic oil still comeing out each side of the remote valve assembnly. I removed each side gaskets were fine left shut off valve out put back together run with lever up no leaks . put back together with some gasket sealer start and after a few seconds oozing out each side. also leaking at th exact same time on the reward releif valve. I removed and it has a brass washer to seal looks good put back still leaks. seems fishy that both start leaking at same amount of time after engageing lever . I leave hydralic lever down no leak makes sense. Still thinkining getting too much pressure but dont have gauge to check . The leak on pump really has me baffled cause none of that was taken apart during restoration . are these related or seperate issues? Lift arms seem to go up and down as should any more things to try?

No amount of gasket sealer will fix a hydraulic leak. There must be missing o-rings that seal things up, or there are nicks or burrs on flat surfaces that cause the leaks. I have never had a transport valve apart. The easiest fix, without seeing the parts is to remove the transport valve and screw on a pioneer coupling in it's place.

The valve you are talking about is for a semimounted plow. When you lift the plow at end of field the valve lets front of plow come up first then back. MACK

Still leaking. something has changed that both sides are oozing badley either too much pressure, or an o ring missing something. Does any body have a parts book they could post so i can see if im missing sowething inside, my service manual doesnt even show this. Still wondering if something at the pump causing this? Im running out of ideas. Of course if i leave the lever down no problem.

The transport valve doesn't have the ability to lock anything up for transport. It's basically a bypass for the remote cyl..The torsion bar hitch on discs and semi mount plows need this to function properly in traction booster mode.

There's one o-ring in the valve, its on the shaft the knob is pined to.
