    Posted: 15 May 2011 at 3:41pm
I have found a 4-row Allis 333 no till planter. It has been shed kept for several years. I am interested in using this for no till pumpkins. My question is how hard will parts be for this and can I get plates to fit. The price is around $1,000. Looks like it will need some work but generally in good shape. Any information will help.

Post a picture of, or the number of the row units. New planter plates are available from Agco for less than new adapters for B-series plastic plates. www.lincolnagproducts.com.  The adapters are $13.75 each, and new plates are $13.75 each. Bearings are available for opener disc, plate drives on top of units, and press wheels for 70-series units. 333 is model of frame. No-till coulter blades are available new. I don't know about a reasonable source for the no-till coulter rubber springs. False rings are available for the bottoms of the seed boxes for about a c-note each. HTH       Lanny   Mid TN

If you have #78 units, the stainless wear rings inside the hopper bottoms are available from Agco reasonable. New cut-off tongues, springs, and knockers, are available in kits for 2 rows, for $65.00 +/-. PM me if I can be of more assistance. I just finished making a 4row, out of an eight row 600 frame, with #78 units.   Lanny   Mid TN
