HI,Just put a hyd pump on tractor-old pump 1000psi replacement 3200psi the problem now is I cant get pressure to release.Any ideas or suggestions ?

Linkage may be out of adjustment and not operating valves correctly. Tracto model would help figure out what could be wrong.

Hi,Tractor is a WD45-I took linkage off and move control valve back and forth no change

With the hydrualic lever in the down position can you still hear the pump running?

That would lead me to the draw bar control. The linkage gets worn and that acts as if the traction booster has been engaged.

Spool valve stuck or linkage worn out inside pump. Screw thum screw in on front of pump. Should stop pumping. Back screw out with lever down and pump should not pump until lift lever is raised. MACK
