I want to clarify my post. After thinking about it, I thought it might come across as being a put-down of the fellow's blade price. That's not what I was intending. I just wanted to point out that I can't sell mine at $300, so I was thinking his price might be a little high for the current money climate.

I think it is location, location, location. different places demand different prices. I have seen then snatched right up around here for 500 and the guys were happy to find one. now as for me, I'm a tight wad and would never pay that for one.

Saw a nice SC blade w. one extension sell for 675 at auction a few weeks ago.The cleanest, nicest, original paint one you will ever see.I stopped at 650.The young man that bought it said afterwards he was willing to go a grand.Dirt scoops run from 400- 600 depending on condition.

Just sold one for $550 and have another for $600. These are above average condition. Last fall one sold for $800 with two extensions that was in excellent condition at a consignment sale.
