Hey guys, I was over at the wifes grandpas today for easter. He has 14 kids and over 50 grand kids. So the house is full and he likes to take me out to the shed. Witch I dont fight for that. Any way he is a big red fan he has a A all the way up to a 5488. I walked into the shed and here is ornage in there, a all crop. He said he wants to sell it, he needs the room in the shed. I think it is in great shape some might think diffrent. It has been sheded it's hole life I cant find the SN on it. I said I will take pictures and post on this site. I would like to find the SN thow. So this long post for a little ? where is the sn on this combine?  Thanks, Eric

if its a model 60,66, and maybe the 72 or 90 the serial number is on the left hand side right below the cylinder access cover, the number will be stamped in the metal.

That is a 1953 66 with the Small bin. Has a Scour Clean. I would say if it has good canvases, $500 wouldn't be a bad deal.

I would buy it for $500. very rare to find a good one around here anymore. i can still remember as a little kid riding in the hopper playing with the milo that was pouring in. the milo was so good that the old 45 and 60 could only take one row at a time and thank goodness for the hand clutch.

It's not in your shed yet???  If I had shed space myself I'd have that one in my shed in a heartbeat for $500 if it was a reasonable distance to tow it home.  Mike
