HELP ! Anyone have a D19D Brochure from 1961 ?

I need a good digital scan of the front cover and maybe some other pages ? I need it for putting on The Half Century of Progress shows webpage for the 50th anniversary D19 Diesel / First Turbocharged Farm Tractor feature at the show. If anybody would share it would be a big help, Thanks !

I have those pages in a D-19 brochure dated 1963, the blue cover D-19 issue if interested. I would have to have copy center do the scanning, they are 11X17. I will loan you the brochure also if that's easier.

Thanks Chris, Really wanting something from 61' since that would be time correct. I will keep your's in mind if we can't find anything from 61'.

Just went and pulled my brochure out and it says New Big Work Power for '62 and has a picture of the D-19 Turbo Diesel. Guess I am a year to new LOL

I was wondering if 62' may have been the year when details starting getting published on that 19TD. I found a Mag. Ad and that was 1963.

On page 95 of Norm's book it says that the D19 was introduced late in 1961 and actually did not go into production until December of 1961. On page 165 it says that the D19 diesel Nebraska test number was 811 and the year was 1962 and the D19 gas was test number 810 and the year was 1961. Don't know for sure if the years were the year the test took place or the year the tractor was built. I know Wendal's book says the D19 was tested at Nebraska in 1962 for both the gas and the diesel. I also noticed on page 165 for the serial numbers and production data that it looks like some of the tractors labeled with a 1961 serial number were included in the 1962 production numbers.

Given all of of this, I would venture to say that the D19 was rolled out to the dealers late in 1961 and was introduced as the new tractor for 1962. It also makes sense that some tractors would have been produced late in 1961 to be shipped right away for dealers to have on lots etc as the ad campain push went out. Also if they went into production in December of 1961 and was a new line, it makes sense that maybe only 65 tractors were finished in 1961 but the serial numbers assigned and production started on tractors that did not really roll off the line and marked as finished until 1962.
