As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am thinking of making a spelt dehuller out of an All Crop harvester. I am wondering, could you auger the spelt into the return chute going into the cylinder? You wouldn't be feeding it fast anyways. This would eliminate the need for the feederhouse. The only concern that I would have, is it may not feed into the cylinder as evenly as it would if you made a hood and fed it overtop of the feederhouse chain on say a 72. Thanks for the input!!
