 on a wd 45 with FACTORY power steering where was the oil tank mounted? Also were there any extra holes in the hood to fill tank? Pictures of a factory setup would be helpful thanks guys  nathan

The tank is on the right side of the hood. There is a filler cap that goes through the hood. It looks like a WC starter tank only on the right side.

Here is one that just came home with me Saturday.  As John said the tank is mounted under the hood. They look like a WC starter tank with different fittings but I have never measured one to be sure of that.

The power steering resevoir is shorter and a bigger diameter than the WC starting tank, with fittings welded in the ends for the oil lines. I am not sure if the mounting holes are the same or not, never compared.

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.
