Since he asked about D14's; here are mine:
Original condition (except upgraded EI), used for brush hogging, plowing, discing, and haying (sickle mower and raking). Runs like a kitten. One fully restored (all mechanicals including complete engine O'haul and electrical. Used last summer for hay raking to break in the engine. |

Sorry to hi-jack the post, but I have to ask (and certainly to be sounding like the correct police), is the silver on the front wheels the way the D 14 came from the factory? The reason I ask is I'm hoping to do a restoration on mine in the near future, and I've seen them both ways, wondering which is factory correct, or if it is a serial number or year issue. Thanks, Darrel BTW, beautiful tractor!! Thanks for sharing

Darrel, Just for you and everyone else yes the front wheels are correct with the silver rim and the center painted orange, in fact the other D's were cream center with silver outside, BTW it's so much fun taping those off to paint the other color. HTH Rich

Thanks for the info, guys. I was pretty sure that the silver was right, but wanted to double check. I hope for my D 14 to look as nice as Greg's some day. Darrel
