The Owners Regestry is a OPEN form and any info posted there can be changed or edited .
Honor system is used both in posting and in changing things there .
Glenn hasmade a backup file a few times for the post area as it has been corrupted quite often by spam posters.
One problem is each day myself and several others here clean out the spam posts that are put up. So far today I have removed about 30 spams ..
I noticed a few of the HD5 machies I have posted have either been deleted or I cant find them now. Also a post of couple other machines i put up for someone else have disapeared.

Maybe you should just give me that old tractor so it wouldn't cause you so much grief. As I recall, at a show last fall it got announced as a 73. LOL

My guess is someone thinks they are straightening it out by using the serial # data on this forum which is poor to say the least because of the way they show the numbers(ending # for each year). My opinion is someone should change it to first # of each year just like every other site and book has it.

I spent hours on the WC's  correcting  years to serial numbers but I don't think I changed any backwards. At one time there were tractors with serial numbers into the 3000's listed as 1933. I never got to the 37's and see a couple of 38's listed as 37's. It's too bad this couldn't be set up so you just enter the serial number and it would be added in order of production.

I just went back and changed about 20 of them to the correct year per the serial number listed. Maybe Glenn's backup file was made before I did the changes, so when he uses the backup to get things working, it changes the year back to the wrong originally posted number.
