I'm needing some advice Guys....
My '52 WD has developed a knock in the PTO when it is working. When idle..no attachements..it is still noisy but sounds more like dull click-click.
What should I be looking for and how to get to the problem?
Thanks

Sounds like a missing or severly chipped tooth in a gear.  Pull the PTO gearbox off the bottom of the torque tube and check the gears in the PTO box, and the gear in the torque tube that drives the PTO box.

I agree with Harold, almost for sure a broken tooth and likely is on the gear directly above the pto drop box. We stock new and used ones & can give you advice on how to replace it without spliiting the tractor.   Bill
