What is the best solution/product to use on old tractors to bring out the paint and give them a good shine? Before i repaint my tractor i'd like to see first how good i can make it look using something on the origional paint to brighten it up so to speak.

Cheap and easy is to spray it with WD-40 then wipe. Works better than I thought it would.

Don't wax , if there is even a chance you will refinish. The local Kubota/ Agco dealer told me once upon a time they polish used tractors with orange hand cleaner with the grit [ pumice] in it. Try it on a small spot.

Wizards Finish Cut. Hands down the best thing Ive used. It was recomended by a buddy of mine whos a body man. I was gona repaint but, it did such a good job of taking the oxidation and bringing back a shine Im gona wait a lil bit on the paint.

I tried that on our farmall smta on a spot around the muffler and it turned a very preaty red and not the ulgy faded color. I was just trying to clean off some carbon on the hood and it worked great for bring back the orgional color!

There is an excellent gritty type of rubbing compound from Napa that I use on many faded tractors and it works excellent. You can add water to it if you don't want it as gritty, just don't use it on anything with a clear coat. LOL
