Yes, it would. That arrangement only works on non-pto implements. For pto implements, the cross-tube would be removed and a tractor-mounted bracket installed to accept the top link. The nice thing about the cross-tube arrangment is that it can be left on the implement for easy snap-couple hookup, it truly converts the 3-pt implement to snap coupler.

I have an operators manual for the different types of hitches that AC offered. Sold a bunch of copies to folks on here a few years back. There are two main styles. One is an adapter that attaches to and stays with the implement. It is made for non-pto driven equipment due to the fact that the top link is in the way. These are easy to spot since they don't have swivel balls in the lift arms....just a hole since there is no "sway" between the hitch and the implement. The other adapter is the one pictured and is made to stay with the tractor. If pto equipment is to be used, a top link bracket has to be mounted on the tractor. These brackets vary depending on the model of the tractor. On non-pto equipment the top link can be angled down to the crossbar on the adapter.

I've been running a 3pt snow blower using that set-up on my 190 snap coupler tractor. I got a top link bracket for the tractor from a salvage yard, so I hook that just like a standard 3pt, and it is out of the way of the pto shaft. I still leave the arms on the blower when I unhook it,I just rest them on a jack stand that is set at the right height for the snap coupler bell. Makes it a "snap" to hook and unhook" LOL! I don't know if it is the right thing to do or not, but I put the draw bar bail back on, and it works as sway blocks. (that would only work on a D 19 or 190). Blew snow yesterday morning with it for 2 hours, and other than using a tanker load of gas, it worked good. Darrel
