I was given a WC front pedistal today that has 6 bolt hubs. What size tires fit the 6 bolt hubs? Are rims hard to find? Are tires hard to find? Would wd 5 bolt hubs fit these spindles?  Thanks

Any 6 bolt implement rim will fit I think. The problem with a lot of implement rims would be the offset in the rim. I have 6 bolt hubs on the WF right now with rims off an All Crop combine. Tires would be in the 6.00-16 to 6.50-16 range. There is no reason why you can't use 5 bolt hubs on it if you get the right bearings. Heck the bearings might be the same as what's on it now.

<shrug>  I got it... just drill another hole (hee hee)

So... which models/years were the 5-bolt hubs used, and when were the 6's used?

The original front wheels that were 17 in, were F&H round spoke and didn't bolt on. When the 6 bolt hub came into plat, the rims were 16 inch.

I have a good pair of the correct 16" 6 bolt rims and hubs off of a '37 WC parts tractor. Unfortunately, I'm a long way away from you. Shipping would probably be far more than the parts, which I would probably give you.
