As far as fenders go, story I got gramps had those done that way because of gettting them caught and crinkled in the barn  and fench posts when loading manure with it, His theory was the tire would take the abuse better than the metal. I think they should had done that to all the UC's they look pretty cool. I wish I could have seen this beast with a loader on it. The crank is not fastened to front because of having a loader on it at one time too. This tractor also was caught on fire while my dad's father was fueling it, they figured it was a static charge that caused it.   In 1957 is was traded for a D17, to be found an hour away is a guys tractor collection in 1984. Been back in the family ever since. this is the second time its been restored since we have had it back. Major thing this go around was all new skins.
