Hey guys,  I need a little help identifying this.  Is it worth anything?  I'm personally not interested in it, but thought someone out there might need some parts...the sheet metal is good.  I'm sure I can pick it up right, so ...

The main interest I had is... what is it?  It says "continental" on the front of the hood and "red seal" down the sides.  I've found a few things online, but just haven't found the right source yet.

Also, we are going to be having an auction this next weekend.  It's near Little Rock, AR.  Pretty big sale...tons of farm equipment and vegetable packaging, sorting eqip, etc...
Here's the link to the sale.

Thanks in advance.

Richard

Header looks like a Papec silage chopper but I never saw one with a power unit.

Papec (Propeller And Pnuematic Ensilage Cutter) was based in Binghamton , New York until the mid 70's when it was bought and moved to Shelbyville. Tn by Paul Wagster and others.  Paulwas a long time salesman for the company.  They made silage choppers. silage wagons feed mills and other short line items.  closed up shop in the mid  to late 80's.

Thanks for the info.  I guess my next question is...  is there any desire for these?  I'd be glad to help anyone out who may need parts or whatever.  What do you think it should be worth in this condition?  I know that scrap is high, but I'd rather help out whoever I can before it comes to that.

Neat old unit, but probably only worth 150/ton, maybe salvage some engine parts. I could be wrong?
