I sold a 2005 Sanana Van 4.8L to a friend of Mine friday afternoon for his Sons truck. When we loaded it up noticed 4 broken manifold studs in the heads alll four corners.Could not take it to Him like that so took it home. When i took the manifolds off one more broke flush with the head welded nuts to the studs .The first one came out but the one that broke flush would not after five trys. Then I remembered the post 3 days ago about useing candle wax. After weldind a washer and nut on the last 5 let sit one minute then rubbed the candle on them. They all came out easy.Forgot to mention it had aluminum heads. This sight is Great when You get in trouble. Many Thanks Brian.
