Wow!  AC knew even back then that orange was going to be dropped or did the orange just turn yeller?  Neat sign none the less.

Very, very nice Fred!  Wow-that is cool, just the right size, not too big and not too small.  I would LOVE to have something like that in my shop.  Very nice find.

Color didn't matter back then, people saw in black 'n white.  Haven't you seen photos, TV, or movies from back then?

It's not a big issue with me as I'm never going to be in the market for buying new.  At maybe 25 hours a year the one-seventy is going to outlast me.
 
I actually like the colors in the sign.  Blue and gold.  Those were the colors of my grade school.  The Knights Prairie Bears.
