I have seen pictures of small blocks in wds and wc in the past. i was wondering if the frame always has to be widened to get the engine in there. I would like to leave the frame and most the tractor alone to make it look like it actually belongs there. I have a 318 mopar with auto trans in great shape waiting to do something, thought about putting it in a wc. I would probably take the wc trans out and just use the auto. I have seen the straight 6 conversions too, they look good as well. I would love to find a straight 8 or old v12, just something different to do  up a custom and do a little exhabition pulling. Any suggestions? JM

I would like to see you stuff a P-pump 5.9 cummins in it! :) Now that would be a frame twister to say the least.

A 3.9 4BT cummins would be better suited for somthing like that though. I wouldn't even know where to begin to tell you how to do it  but it would be pretty cool to have a turbo diesel in a WC. You could easily hook a short shaft 727 torqueflight to it for a tranny.

I agree, that is what I'm thinking about doing with my 41 WC the engine and transmission are both shot so I have nothing to lose.
