Wow, are these things really going for this much and 59.00 to ship???  There are a couple more on there priced simlar.  I was hoping to wait until the shows started up to find one but thought I'd look on ebay so I can start pulling some trees out of the woods sooner.  I think I might just have to wait after all!

That does seem really high.  My friend paid 40 for his drawbar and another 20 for the swinging part.

That seller seems to price his stuff very high.  Makes me wonder if he ever wonders why his auctions never sell.

That's what I thought.  I was under the impression that I should be able to find one for 25 bucks or so.  Granted, I need the hardware to mount it to the tractor as well but you would think I could get the entire setup for less than he wants to ship it.  Hopefully I'll run across one priced decent in the near future so I can put the B to work some more.

Uhhh.... that's a little high....  ....and it won't fit your B!!!

To find the elusive $25 one, might mean you have to go to one or more good swap meets and make a deal at the end of the day...  But for $50, you should be able to get a B drawbar and anchor straps. Make sure you know if you need 1/2" or 5/8" bolts.....

Good to know.  I do plan on hitting several shows this year but I now know to check the bolt size.  If I can find the whole setup for 50 bucks, I'll be a happy camper for sure!

So are drawbars different from a B to a C?

Yes, the C is wider between the finals and a B drawbar won't reach the C finals. A C drawbar will be too wide, and will not fit between the final drives on your B. The early B drawbars were 1/2 bolts, they later upgraded the holes to 5/8". If you get a late B drawbar you can get bushings to use the 1/2" on an early B, but if you get an early drawbar, and want to use it on your late tractor, you will need to drill the holes out to 5/8".

Thanks, mine is a '52 as long as the final drives are original.
