We just broke down the inner tires and rims on Dad's 8050 to install a new set of inside tires. They have had fluid in them for as long as the tires have been on there(never leaked). The duals have not been off since the tires were put on either. The area under the inner rim where the dual spacer sits has lots of surface rust. We went ahead and sandblasted, primed and painted the inner rims. If you havn't taken your duals off in a long time, you may want to take them off and have a look before it gets bad enough to ruin the rims. The way the duals mount to the inner rim, it's a perfect place for dust, dirt and water to get trapped in between. In a couple more years, the rims would've needed major work. Will install new tubes, and not putting calcium back in. Just a heads up.
Take care.

Uncle always said "Fill the back of the shovel and the front will take care of itself".

I take my duals off atleast once every two years, even if its to put them right back on. I always smear grease on the rims before I put them back together too. My 7080s duals prolly had not been off since it was new, It took a 30ton bottle jack to get them removed, and that was still tough.
