I recently acquired a 2 row AC corn planter, it was the one on Lima's craigslist.  It has the B/C type hitch, see photo below, on it and I would really like to convert it over to the CA pin hitch that it shows in the parts books.  I would also convert to CA or WD snap coupler style.  If anyone has a hitch to sell or trade for a B/C hitch let me know.  Oh, I could also use the assembly that the shoes attach to as one on here has a big crack.  I will try to attach pictures.  Thanks,
 Joe

You are a couple years late, mine had a CA pin hitch on it, and I ended up buying a B/C hitch from orangereborn (Dale Schafer) and selling the pin hitch. OH is a lot closer than WI, but since I have some good friends, they made it migrate from WI to MN, to IA and got delivered 2 miles from my door.

Good luck finding the hitch you need, seems they are more common than the B/C ones....

Where do you live in Ohio?  I am interested in purchasing your B/C hitch if you want to sell it and you are not located to far from me.  I am in central PA.

Im in between Dayton and Lima, almost to Indiana.  But I'm sure we could work something out.  Id rather trade for the hitch I need, but I would sell it because it wont do me any good.

Can that planter be converted to SC by simply bolting snap eye on tongue, are there lift rod's to connect to lift latches?

Chris,

The 2 row drill planter had at least 3 options for hitching. B/C tongue,  CA pin hitch, snap coupler. Also hitching options for WD were available. For all the little tractors, they used chains to connect to the lift mechanism. Due to the geometry of the hitches, all the tongues were different. You might be able to put a snap couple hitch on a pin hitch tongue, but definately not on the B/C tongue......
