I received my ca step from Mike today. Very well made! I like how the step is designed. The angle, cut and bend of the leg is all done out of one piece of stock, very nice job. Not a bad price either. Ron

Ron & Greg,
Thank you both for the very kind words. You know this step project started off after I got hurt as a result of jumping off the front of my CA at a plow day event. My CA of course had a plow attached behind along with the cultivator lift arms also attached to the side of the torque tube. Well when I jumped off, I was facing backward and tried to jump toward the front of the tractor forgetting about the cultivator lift arms and my left leg hit the lift arm very hard and got a severe thigh bruise that was sore for a couple of weeks. I then figured maybe I should design and make a step that I could climb on and off the front easily. So, I had a prototype made and then had a few more made. Then with the help of this forum and displaying at local tractor shows with my Ca and extra steps. They were so well received and with a lot of nice compliments on them. Now I have had requests for other tractor models, so I've been making steps for many of the old Allis tractors.
Thanks again for your support,
Mike

Myron,
Does that ever look nice. Thanks for showing the picture.
What did you use for paint?

Thanks Mike.  I must confess, I let a friend paint the step while he painted his B.  I'll try to find out what he's using.
