Have a new set of tubeless bias ply tires on the front of my 8070FWA.I will be running in a field with mesquites this summer.I have heard that running water in tires will help from having flats. When the thorns go in the tire the water will swell the thorns and they want leak as bad.I know on the rear tires this is true. Will the added weight hurt the wheel bearings? The tractor has a full set of front weights.

First of all, there is no added weight to any bearings....it's all in the tires. Second, half-full of water should accomplish what you want, shoudn't it?? Third, if you are adding 500 lbs total of water, take 500 lbs of cast iron front weights off....even steven. Then, after you figure out how nice it rides going down the road with little or no bounce anymore, you'll just leave it that way permanently.

They make tire sealant for that. Walmart sells green slime. I have that in fron tires on my kubota and in fourwheeler tires. Works great. Bill

I have had the best luck with the green slime. Mesquites are murder on FWA tractors and usually win in the end.

We had a FWA Ford tractor that had fluid in the front tires and all four of the back ones and about 3300lbs of weights on the front. Best riding tractor weve had for going down the highway. Never used it before but genseal sounds like good stuff. heres there website. http://www.noflats.com/genseal.htm
