Hello all,

I have a 185 ( Diesel ) and am wondering what implements it is rated for ?
What size plow will it pull ?
How big of a disk ?
And most of all, does it have the power to pull a New Holland  1411 discbine ?

Thanks.

Well it should pull a 4-16 plow easy, and probably a 13 foot disc, and it should pull the 1411 discbine, at the farm I work at, we pull one with a 686 IH which is smaller than a 185, and doesn't have the PTO the 185 does either.

A 185 has a lot of torque for no bigger than they are.I have seen Farmers pull 5/16 plows in light ground. We always pulled 4/16 and a 14ft. disc.I have a JD 930 11ft.disc mower and the 185 runs it just fine.I mowed 10 acres of hay once in an hour.

Our 185 pulls our 12 foot disc very well without the cultipacker, we have clay loam soils in our part of Maryland.  We have used it to pull our 1411 discbine many times.  It does a great job however I would stay off of hilly fields with it.
