This motor has 4 broken lifters in it , what could be the cause for this. They have been broken for some time because they are wore smooth , one I found in oil pan. I'm wondering if this normal for these engins. This engine is out of a combine.

Not known for that....maybe engine ran away wild one time because of governor issues??
