Best as in what? Price? Color? shine? fade resistance?
You get your pick of up to 3.

Paint isn't just paint. What's it going to be, working tractor that needs metal covered for protection from rust? Show Tractor? Combination show/work tractor? Paint isn't the only thing that makes a good paint job too. Make sure you do all the proper preparation work. I normally spend a little more time then I think's needed just to be sure I did enough.

OK guys, help us out. I want good paint for endurance, price and original color. It is for a project, but will always be a work tractor. Thanks...

Depending on when you need it by, I just finished my CA with Napa martin senour. Cheaper than PPG ( I was quoted 400 for a gallon!?!). I did not use the code everybody says is wrong. I guy I know did his 45 with it and it looks like the PPG paint. I used the same code as he did but It's hard to tell in the unnatural light. I'll be able to tell when it's all back together. It's up to you. I got a gallon for 40 bucks (big discount because of the business account). Let us know.

I use AGCO cream, it covers better than other brands I've tried and lasts very well. I've been told Valspar makes paint for AGCO and it's cheaper, but I know I can go to my AGCO dealer and pick up a spray can and it always matches.

ive noticed with Valspar paint that it likes to fade really easy, and it dosent hold up to wear and tear very well, just my opinion. I think that the Napa, or Carquest paint is nicer and doesnt fade as easy and it covers real nice.
