D17 with a 230 6 cly gas info

What all parts do I need to install a 230 gas 6cly in a D17 that was a 4 cly gas? frame rails,gonovers,ect. Thanks for in info that you guys can give me. I have a 230 engine and a D17 gas with no engine in it now. Thought it would be a neat project. Love tha sound of a gas 6 cly.

Jamie, This was brought up a while back, and I think you also need to change the transmission input shaft.... it is too short in the 226 tractors ?  Maybe someone remembers,  Dr. Allis 's advice would be useful to you I'm sure.

You need the plate from the back of the block on a D17 diesel or D19, a flywheel from D17 diesel and clutch. I have the stuff. I was going to put a 262 gas in a D17 but I ended up putting in a 301 diesel. Frame rails need to be longer. I cut mine and added some length in the middle.  The transmission input shaft is 1 7/16 inch longer in a gas tractor than a diesel. I made a spacer plate to use up the distance on mine. 
I am really happy about the way the 301 went into the tractor. I want spring to come so I can use it.
