Is this combine rare. It is in working cond, looks good from the pics I have seen. Has been in a barn all its life. Just like to know what it might be worth. Are they as good for doing clover seed as the pull type All Crops.

Allis made 5500 of them. Worth basically scrap price because they are not fun to transport. They are pretty much a self propelled 72.

Thought they were more like self propelled 90 with the narrower cylinder? If it runs & is close enough to drive home and wouldn't take make to make it field ready I'd probably pay up to $1000 to own one. Mike

SP100S came into production in 1953 followed by the Super 100s in 1957. Early Sp100s had the WD 201 engine. A few months later, the WD45s 226 was put into them. 35 bushel grain tank that could be increased to 45. It was near the last of the Allis Chalmers combines. AC purchased Gleaner in 1955 and when with them for self propelled combines. $2500 sounds high, but it wouldn't take long to put that much into new bearings, shafts, chains, belts, sprockets, tires, etc... much less your labor?

I saw that one on Kijiji, Brian. I emailed him, but didn't get a response. It does look good, but the transport is the kicker. Good luck!
